Executive Board Members
Chairman - Franklin Akokwu
Mr. Akokwu is an accountant with Darlko Consulting. He holds a Masters degree in Accounting and Control. He has designed reliable accounting systems for companies and organizations which previously lacked infrastructure, and has also been instrumental in updating existing systems. His contributions to Reach Africa Foundation have been invaluable.
Secretary/Treasurer - Edward Ybarra
Mr. Ybarra earned a Bachelors degree in History with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 1979. With over 20 years of experience in the financial service industry, his career has included positions with the Benelux at Thomas Cook Bankers Nederland B.V., Deutsche Bank, Reissebank A.G., and MoneyGram International. He has recently worked as a financial planner and consultant for EuroKay Consultant and Inter-Alliance WorldNet Insurance Agents and Advisor Ltd. Mr. Ybarra has been a strong proponent in creating job opportunities for people in the Netherlands.
PR & Communication - Manon Westenbroek
Ms. Westenbroek is the Chairperson and CEO of 4D Communicatie. She worked for 7 years for the Dutch Veteran Institute as a communications advisor and public relations/media specialist. In 2008, she founded 4D Communicatie. Her skills and expertise in communication are highly valued within Reach Africa Foundation.



Management Team
General Manager - Chief Thaddeus A. Osuji
It was through his efforts, vision and cooperation with others that Reach Africa Foundation came into existence in 2002. Mr. Osuji earned a Bachelors degree in Theology from Global University in USA. He also has an associate diploma in Christian Ministries from the Redeemer College in the Hague and a certification from the Institute of Cultural Affairs in Belgium in Development strategic planning, group facilitating methods, and project circle management. His educational background reflects his international mind.
Mr. Osuji has been involved in many local activities and projects. He worked as a consultant to Diasporic Alliance for African Development (DAAD) in the Netherlands, and was a candidate for local government election in 2010, under the Unity Party of Democrats. Because of his involvement in community work, he has received numerous awards and recommendations from Dutch government institutions, international NGO’s and African embassies.

Our team members are volunteers who come from different backgrounds and cultures and work together on various projects and activities. Through their hard work and dedication, they are the ones who make things happen.
